We encourage a love of reading and writing by supporting development of key / early literacy skills. Therapy may focus on phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, decoding, spelling, reading fluency, and comprehension.

By strengthening these key areas, we help build confidence and success in literacy, creating long-term foundations for learning, academic achievement and classroom participation.

We also support teenagers and adults who may be experiencing ongoing literacy difficulties, including challenges with reading comprehension, written expression, spelling, study skills, and organising written work. Literacy support at this stage can improve confidence with study or work, and strengthen communication skills for everyday life.

Together, we develop personalised speech therapy goals that are meaningful, functional and relevant to everyday life.
Your therapy plan is tailored to your needs and may include strategies, resources and home practice activities to support progress between appointments.
You will receive resources to assist on your speech therapy journey. The work doesn't stop after the appointment ends; home practice is key to facilitating significant change.

Speech therapy sessions are designed around your individual goals, strengths and preferences. We use evidence-based approaches and practical activities to support speech sound development, articulation and clearer communication in everyday situations.
Therapy may take place at home, school, in the community, via Telehealth, or in clinic.

Assessment does not stop after your first appointment. We regularly review your progress and adjust therapy as your needs, goals and circumstances change.
This helps us provide responsive, functional care and recognise when goals have been achieved, therapy should change direction, or ongoing speech therapy is no longer needed.
