Voice Therapy

What we can help with

We support you or your child in developing a healthy, clear, and strong voice for everyday speaking and self-expression. Voice therapy may assist with hoarseness, vocal fatigue, reduced vocal volume, or changes in vocal quality such as dysphonia, helping improve comfort and confidence when communicating.

We also support clients who have difficulty regulating volume (e.g., speaking too loudly), helping them learn appropriate voice modulation for different environments such as home, school, and the community.

Support for complex needs

We provide support for individuals with anatomical and medical differences that may impact voice quality, including cleft palate, velopharyngeal insufficiency (VPI), hearing loss, neurodegenerative conditions, post-tracheostomy/laryngectomy, and nasogastric tube (NG) use. These differences can affect resonance, clarity, vocal strength, and overall communication effectiveness.

How we can help

Using evidence-based strategies and individualised support, we focus on improving voice function, resonance and respiratory support, promoting safe and sustainable voice use, and helping you or your child communicate clearly and confidently across home, school, and community settings.

3. We provide personalised therapy

Speech therapy sessions are designed around your individual goals, strengths and preferences. We use evidence-based approaches and practical activities to support speech sound development, articulation and clearer communication in everyday situations.

Therapy may take place at home, school, in the community, via Telehealth, or in clinic.

3. We provide personalised therapy

Assessment does not stop after your first appointment. We regularly review your progress and adjust therapy as your needs, goals and circumstances change.

This helps us provide responsive, functional care and recognise when goals have been achieved, therapy should change direction, or ongoing speech therapy is no longer needed.
